Recognizing that the world does not change for the better, except for the hard work of individuals, Enterprise Teaming's founders John and Kevin early on in the history looked how they could apply the principles and practices Enterprise Teaming to supporting individual entrepreneurs and communities across initially the United States and Latin America. The following initiatives represent that start. We are actively looking for other entrepreneurial support initiatives. Please contact us if you have an initiative to suggest. | Bootstrap Austin and the Bootstrap Network | Given that there are many different models towards organization of communities of entrepreneurs, Enterprise Teaming is an major active supporter of the Bootstrap Austin and Bootstrap Network. By working together as a community of entrepreneurs, bootstrappers are able to take stronger opportunities for each other
| | Prueba El Mundo | Enterprise Teaming, along with the Universidad de Valle de Mexico is co-sponsoring an entrepreneurship contest across Mexico, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, and Spain where university students actively build startup companies based around the principles of Enterprise Teaming. Students actively build real businesses, and gain practical experience in building startups, preparing them to create positive economic and social outcomes in their home cities. | | Peace Through Commerce | Perhaps the most overlooked and yet the most powerful force for catalyzing widespread peace is commerce. International trade, based on the rule of law and secure property rights within nations, encourages a peaceful coincidence of interests. Enterprise Teaming, through its commitment based software, and through Enterprise Teaming's experience in building trust through commitments even in low-trust and no-trust situations creates a foundation for the Peace Through Commerce program. | | Sonai.Org | As a part of Enterprise Teaming's overall stragegy of supporting entrepreneurship across the world, Enterprise Teaming is actively supporting micro-finance initiatives through Sonai.Org. |
